 Refund & Cancellation Policy

 

My goal is to provide compassionate and reliable support throughout your pregnancy, birth, and postpartum journey. Because birth doula services require reserving time on-call and limiting the number of clients accepted each month, the following refund policy applies.

Deposit Policy

 

A non-refundable deposit of $500 is required to reserve your estimated due date and secure my availability.

 

This deposit compensates for reserving your due date on my calendar and beginning prenatal support.

Client Cancellation

 

If you choose to cancel doula services:

 

Before 36 weeks of pregnancy

You will receive a refund of any payments made excluding the non-refundable deposit.

 

After 36 weeks of pregnancy

No refunds will be issued, as I will already be on-call and have declined other clients for that time period.

If Birth Occurs Before Doula Arrival

 

If the birth occurs too quickly for me to arrive in time, no refund will be issued. However, I will still provide:

 

• Immediate postpartum support if possible

• A postpartum visit

• Birth processing support

If I Am Unable to Attend the Birth

 

In the rare event that I cannot attend your birth due to illness, emergency, or circumstances beyond my control:

 

• A backup doula may attend in my place, or

• A partial refund will be provided for the labor support portion of the package.

Postpartum & Hourly Services

 

Postpartum services canceled with 24 hours notice will not be charged.

 

Sessions canceled with less than 24 hours notice may be billed for 50% of the scheduled time.

Birth is unpredictable, and I am committed to providing the highest level of support possible. My policies are designed to ensure fairness while maintaining availability for the families I serve.
